My mind is boggled by this site. Still, it’s good to know what all the attire terms mean. Personally, unless I win the lottery I will have to decline any invitation beyond “business casual.”
I think there’s also some regional differences too. The description of women’s business casual would feel like business formal at my workplace. And the outfit in the Business Formal section would probably raise some eyebrows at my company.
What ends up confusing me are terms like “fun/statement jewelry” and “fun blouses”.
But, I agree that it’s good to have some sort of reference for what others will understand the dress code to be.
