Just as there is a monetary budget limit on the wedding, there is also a labor budget to be considered. Every wedding has individuals who will approach you to offer their help. Be sure to write those names down when offered! However, historically, that number of people is limited. Just as you would not make arrangements that exceed your monetary budget estimates forcing you to use credit to pay for it, making plans which exceed the amount of labor that has been offered results in either your volunteers working much more than they intended or creates the need to recruit people to serve. In other words, don’t overspend on labor if you do not have it “in the bank”. Carefully shepherd your labor resources by scaling back elements of your wedding, i.e. guest list numbers, reception menu, etc.
