When the grandmothers stood together holding hands, I lost it. So many tears running down my face right now.

I cry at this video every single time I watch it.

Oh my goodness, I had started tearing up by the time they were cycling through the ten children and even showed the one gay couple (how wonderful to see such acceptance in what appears to have been a very traditional family!), but when they panned into the two grandmothers holding hands with their husbands’ pictures, I just lost it. Then when they showed the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren… Oh this was just so beautiful. Such a wonderful legacy, all because four people met their match, and said “yes to love.” Bravo! 🙂

I couldn’t stop wondering–what about HER grandparents?

Unfortunately, the 1950’s weren’t so kind to my own grandparents, and so it’s not completely easy to relate to. I would not be able to make such a video, even if they were all alive right now. If only.

Thanks for sharing, Isaac and Amy. May you have a long and happy life together. How about Amy’s ancestors?
